It’s time to vote!
1. Vote absentee ballot. Everyone is eligible to use an absentee ballot. You should have already received your absentee ballot application in the mail. If not, contact ACC’s Board of Elections at www.athensclarkecounty.com/160/Board-of-Elections or 706-613-3150 to request one. When your absentee ballot arrives, follow the instructions and mail it back. Absentee ballots must be received by ACC’s Board of Elections before June 9, 2020. So, don’t wait to return your ballot!
2. Advance in-person voting. May 18 – May 31, vote early in-person weekdays 8 am to 5 pm at the Board of Elections office at 155 E. Washington St. in downtown Athens, or on Sat., May 30, 9 am – 4 pm or Sun. May, 31, 12 – 3 pm. Closed on Mon., May 25. June 1-5, 8-5:30 pm (Wed, 8 – 7 pm), Board of Elections office, . Athens-Clarke Public Library, 2025 Baxter St.; June 1 – 5, 10:30- 5:30 pm (Wed., June 3, 10:30 am – 7 pm). Miriam Moore Community Service Center, 410 McKinley Dr. and Athens-Clarke Cooperative Extension office, 275 Cleveland Rd.
3.In-person at a local polling place on election day. For updates about polling locations, check ACC’s Board of Elections website at www.athensclarkecounty.com/160/Board-of-Elections.
