Carol Myers has proven herself.

Carol is an accomplished commissioner who is committed to representing all Athenians and working to create a more equitable, welcoming, and Green community.

For Carol, being a commissioner is about helping you, the constituents.

It’s also about staying true to her passions — advocating for public transportation and bike infrastructure, helping Athens stay true to its 100% renewal energy resolution, being a champion for Eastside businesses, and promoting just and equitable policies for all Athenians.

“Dr Myers' passions are constantly on display as she fights for the Eastside and for all Athenians. She is thoughtful and always present.”

Patrick Davenport, District 1 Commissioner

“Carol promotes consensus among commissioners because she does her homework and engages respectfully with her colleagues. Carol listens; she stays alert; she tells the truth. Her newsletter informs me about current and long-term issues.”

-Jackie Elsner, Eastside resident

“Carol is a voice of thoughtful, well-researched collaboration with her fellow commissioners, with people who have the same and opposing ideas. She is respectful to everyone.”

-JoBeth Allen, Eastside resident
